Vinton native, Brad Geater of McClure Engineering Co. passed the Professional Engineering exam to become dual licensed as a Land Surveyor (LS) and Professional Engineer (PE). "Being dual licensed allows me to understand the unique aspects of conflicts encountered during project lifecycles, as well as improve the process and understand how projects effect individual land owners," said Geater. "We are proud of Geater's accomplishments," said Terry Lutz, CEO and President. "He has truly embraced our core values of continuous self-improvement and hard work." Geater joins three other MEC team members who hold this dual license - Jerry Shellberg, Mike Trotter, and Randy Zerr. There are currently 8,904 active PE licenses in the state. Only 109 of these individuals hold a dual LS/PE license.
