Knaack retiring after nearly 35 years at Nature's Corner

After working, first at Hilda's, and later at Nature's Corner, making flowers for nearly 30 years, Cheryl Knaack is retiring. Nature's Corner Owner Emily Cashman and the staff will honor her on Friday, and hope all of Cheryl's long-time customers will stop by to say hello and wish her luck. Cheryl and her husband, Harold, plan to begin doing some traveling throughout the U.S. in the near future, as well as spending time with their children and grandchildren.

"I actually started working for Hilda's Flowers in 1987 when my youngest child started school," recalls Cheryl. "I stayed with Hilda's until her daughter Nancy sold the business, and then Cindy hired me at Natures Corner."

Cheryl has already received several comments from friends and customers.

"It's been a great job. I'm sure going to miss the business and the people," she says. "Emily has been great to work and I certainly wish her all the best. Thanks to everyone for the retirement well wishes."

Cashman thanked Cheryl for her years of work and friendship.

"It has been having such a great friend, coworker, and now employee like Cheryl. I have learned so much from her and wish her all the best, we will miss her," says Cashman.
