Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through  Friday.

A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for  individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse  (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals  who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for  their meal.

Carryout meals are available. Please call us  to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM  daily!

We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and  Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is  $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older.

We also have  nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery  is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for  more information about services or to reserve a table for  groups of 3 or more.

The meal on Sunday, December 26th, will be Baked Glazed  Ham, Baked Potato Half, Peas, Pineapple, Frosted Banana  Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, November 1st, the activity of the day was a  Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Clete  Friedman won 1st place with 320 points. Elsie Henkle took  2nd place with 257 points. Fern Lewis won 3rd place with  230 points. After the games, Esther Novotny brought  cookies to share. Other refreshments were provided by the  Card Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, November 2nd, the afternoon activity was  Surprise Bingo. The games were handpicked by Norma Ellis  and the volunteer caller was Tammie Brown. Game 1 was a  Tall Top Hat and JoAnn Roster won lemonade and gloves.  Game two was a Telephone Pole and Marge Goodell won a  4-piece set of towels. Game three was a Layer Cake with  Fern Lewis winning a puzzle. Game four was a Picnic Table  with Greta Geiken winning a meal ticket. Elsie Knaack won  with blackout on game five.

On Wednesday, November 3rd, the activity of the day was  10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked were Elsie  Knaack. The volunteer bingo caller was Wendy Pennington.  Game one was a Flag with Fern Lewis winning. Game two  was a Nine Pack with Elsie Knaack as the winner. Game  three was Frame the Free Spot and Four Corners and Jerry  Healy was the winner. Game four was a Baseball with  Delane Kalina winning. Jeanette Blazicek and Faye Goodell  won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, November 4th, we welcomed Merle and Evelyn  Roths’ daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Shawna from  Montana as our guests. Barb Riggle provided the afternoon  musical entertainment.

On Friday, November 5th, the activity was a 500 card party  with 7 tables of players. Geri Shaffer won 1st place with  3,670 points. Doris Sealock won 2nd place with 3,450  points. Milt Smith won 3rd place with 3,220 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were  provided by the card club.

On Monday, November 8th, the activity of the day was a  Pepper Card Party. There were 4 tables of players. Fern  Lewis won 1st place with 264 points. Merle Roths won 2nd  place with 258 points. Third place went to Frances Kelly  with 227 points. Bill Milne brought treats to share.  Other refreshments were provided by the card club and  beverages provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, November 9th, we welcomed the Vinton Legion  Auxiliary, the ODO Club, and the Urbana Card Club as our  guests. We celebrated the November birthdays and Stuart  Gulick provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, November 10th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The  games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz and the volunteer  caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was a Flag with  Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game two was a Picnic Table  with Joe Healy winning. Game three was Wild Number with 3  Bingos with Fern Lewis winning. Game four was a Nine-Pack  with Ruth Wieditz winning. Elsie Knaack won with blackout  on game five.

On Thursday, November 11th, the afternoon activity was  10-Cent Bingo with JoAnn Roster handpicking the games.  Vicki Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a  Champagne Glass with Greta Geiken, JoAnn Roster, and Faye  Goodell winning. Game two was a Plus Sign with Greta  Geiken winning. Game three was the Letter “A” with JoAnn  Roster winning. Game four was the Letter “Z” with Fern  Lewis and Greta Geiken winning. JoAnn Roster won game  five with blackout.

On Friday, November 12th, the activity was a 500 Card  Party.
