Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME!

Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal.

Carryout meals are available. Please call us to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM daily!

We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

The meal on Sunday, January 9th, will be Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Corn, Mandarin Oranges, Frosted Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, November 15th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Art Corbett won 1st place with 268 points. Bob Sands took 2nd place with 234 points. Joy Baker took a close 3rd place with 233 points. After the games, Frances Kelly brought ice cream and bars and Irene Geiger brought potato chips to share. Other refreshments were provided by the Card Club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, November 16th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Faye Goodell and the volunteer caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game 1 was Four Corners and Frame the Free Spot and JoAnn Roster was the winner. Game two was Stair Steps with Jeanette Blazicek and Joe Healy winning. Game three was a Flag with Joe Healy winning. Game four was a 9-Pack with Marion Isabell and Elsie Knaack winning. JoAnn Roster won with blackout on game five.

On Wednesday, November 17th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked were Marge Goodell. The volunteer bingo caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was the Letter “T” with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was Frame Card with Faye Goodell as the winner. Game three was the Letter “L” with dora Vogt as the winner. Game four was 4 Postage Stamps with Elsie Knaack winning. Dora Vogt and Faye Goodell won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, November 18th, everyone enjoyed the Thanksgiving Dinner together.

On Friday, November 19th, the activity was a 500 card party with 5 tables of players. Marge Foster won 1st place with 3,460 points. Clete Friedman won 2nd place with 3,050 points. Dora Vogt won 3rd place with 2,930 points. HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club.

On Monday, November 22nd, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party. There were 3 tables of players. Merle Roths won 1st place with 248 points. Both LaVonne Henkle and Irene Geiger won 2nd place with 233 points. A close third place went to Bud Barr with 232 points. Refreshments were provided by the card club and beverages provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, November 23rd, the Don Anders Band provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, November 24th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Fern Lewis and the volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was 2 Hard Ways with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was Frame the Card with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was Wild Number with 3 Bingos with Faye Goodell winning. Game four was a Flag with Fern Lewis winning. Faye Goodell won with blackout on game five.

On Monday, November 29th, there was a Pepper Card party with 4 tables of players. Frances Kelly won 1st place with 235 points. Dora Vogt won 2nd place with 229 points. Third place went to Irene Geiger with 217 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, November 30th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo with Delane Kalina handpicking the games. Tammie Brown was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Fern Lewis, JoAnn Roster, and Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was the Letter “Z” with Norma Ellis and Geraldine Healy winning. Game three was Wild Card 3 Bingos with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was a Layer Cake with Elsie Knaack winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with blackout.
