Business : Tactical Creations holds Grand Opening in new location

Tactical Creations started as somewhat of a fluke following the flooding in Vinton in 2008.

Bob and Debbie DuCharme's home on East 3rd St. was damaged during the flood, so the couple took a look around to see what they could sell to raise the necessary funds to take care of the repairs.  Bob started selling some of the guns that he had, then people wanted to buy guns from him that he didn't own so in 2009 he started Tactical Creations. He worked out of his home for three years and then moved downtown to the former location for 7 years.

Moving a block west into the old Casey's building the couple gutted and remodeled the store into what is now the new location which took 6 months and every spare minute that they had to complete the project.

The store is closed on Sunday and Monday but is open from Tuesday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday 10:00 to 5:00 p.m.
