Business : 4th St. Diner to notify of the site closing via text message

The 4th St. Diner was notified by KCRG this fall that they will only be putting School Closings on the television crawl. All other closings will be put on their website which is not helpful for you to know if we are closed on any given day due to the weather or some other emergency.

We will no longer be sharing our closing information with KCRG. We have decided that the most efficient way to communicate our closings is to send out text alerts to those individuals who sign-up. Anyone who has a cell phone is welcome to sign-up their phone number with either Linda or Janet. If you have any questions, please ask us!

Contrary to popular belief the meal site is often open even though the schools may have closed. If you call the center and no one answers the phone it could be due to call volume rather than the site is closed.
