Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 

Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.



Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for 

individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 

(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals 

who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 

their meal. Carryout meals are available. Please call us 

to cancel or order a Home Delivered Meal by 10:00 AM 

daily! We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and 

Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is 

$3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have 

nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery 

is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for 

more information about services or to reserve a table for 

groups of 3 or more.

The meal on Sunday, January 16th will be Roast Pork, 

Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, Milk.



On Wednesday, December 1st, the activity of the day was 

10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked were Norma 

Ellis. The volunteer bingo caller was Wendy Pennington. 

Game one was Four Corners with Frame the Free Spot with 

Frances Kelly winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Frances 

Kelly as the winner. Game three was a flag with Frances 

Kelly as the winner. Game four was Wild Card with Frances 

Kelly winning again! June Salerno won game five with 

blackout.



On Thursday, December 2nd, everyone enjoyed the music by 

Barb Riggle.



On Friday, December 3rd, the activity was a 500 card party 

with 5 tables of players. Theresa Wieser won 1st place 

with 3,650 points. Marlys Finzen won 2nd place with 3,580 

points. Bernadine Barr won 3rd place with 3,320 points. 

HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were 

provided by the card club.



On Monday, December 6th, the activity of the day was a 

Pepper Card Party. There were 3 tables of players. Merle 

Roths won 1st place with 262 points. Bernadine Barr won 

2nd place with 238 points. Third place went to Don Selken 

with 233 points. Refreshments were provided by the card 

club and beverages provided by HACAP.



On Tuesday, December 7th, we welcomed guests, Everett 

Gunderson and Lola G. The activity of the day was 

Surprise Bingo with Marion Isabell handpicking the games. 

The volunteer caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was 

Four Corners and Frame the Free Spot with Elsie Knack 

winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Norma Ellis winning. 

Game three was Stairsteps with Faye Goodell winning. 

Game four was a Flag with Ron Dawson winning. Marion 

Isabell won game five with blackout.



On Wednesday, December 8th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The 

games were handpicked by June Salerno and the volunteer 

caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was Four Corners 

with Ron Dawson winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with 

Faye Goodell winning. Game three was Outside Picture 

Frame with June Salerno winning. Game four was a 9-Pack 

with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Dora Vogt won with 

blackout on game five.



On Thursday, December 9th, the afternoon activity was 

10-Cent Bingo with Elsie Knaack handpicking the games. 

Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was 

Stairsteps with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a 

9-Pack with Gretchen Geiken winning. Game three was a 

Cocktail Glass with Elsie Knaack and Greta Geiken winning. 

Game four was a Postage Stamp with JoAnn Roster winning. 

Greta Geiken won game five with blackout.



On Friday, December 10th, there was a 500 Card Party with 

6 tables of players. First place went to Evelyn Greenwood 

with 3,140 points. Bud Barr won 2nd place with 3,000 

points. Ron Dawson won 3rd place with 2,940 points. 

Leroy Weiser brought ice cream bars to share for his 

birthday. Other refreshments were provided by the card 

club and beverages by HACAP.
