Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for 
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals 
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver 
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. 
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or 
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid 
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you 
are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the 
birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on 
the day of the birthday dinner.

The meal on Sunday, April 10th will be Roast Turkey, 
Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli, Mixed Green Salad, 
Blushing Pears, Frosted White Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, February 23rd, there were 5 tables of Pepper 
Cards played. Merle Roths won 1st place with 338 points. 
Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 322 points. Mary 
Rogers won 3rd place with 275 points. Refreshments were 
provided by the card club and beverages were provided by 
HACAP.

On Tuesday, March 1st, we welcomed Carol and Marvin 
Kisling, the guests of Alice and Waclter Gille. The 
afternoon activity was Surprise Bingo. The games were 
handpicked by June Salerno and the volunteer caller was 
Tammi Brown. Game one was the Letter “X” and June Salerno 
won a scarf. Game two was the Number “7” and Elsie Knaack 
won tea. Faye Goodell won a puzzle on game three with 3 
Bingos. Game four was Four Corners Plus All Around the 
Free Spot and JoAnn Roster won a meal ticket. Marion 
Isabel won a bracelet on game five with blackout.

On Wednesday, March 2nd, the activity of the day was 
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Elsie Knaack 
and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game on 
was a 9-Pack with Clete Friedmen as the winner. Game two 
was a Flag with June Salerno as the winner. Game three 
was 4 Postage Stamps with Elsie Knaack winning. Game four 
was a Top Hat with Greta Geiken winning. Jeanette 
Blazicek won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, March 3rd, everyone enjoyed the music 
provided by Barb Riggle.

On Friday, March 4th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. 
Bud Barr won 1st place with 3,480 points. Marlys Finzen 
won 2nd place with 3,280 points. Third place went to 
Irene Geiger with 3,160 points. Joy Baker brought cake to 
share and other refreshments were provided by the card 
club. HACAP provided the beverages.

On Monday, March 7th, there were 4 tables of pepper cards 
played. Lois Romman won 1st place with 285 points. 
LaVonne Henkle took a close 2nd place with 284 points. 
Mary Rogers won 3rd place with 256 points. After the 
games, refreshments were served by the card club and 
beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, March 8th, we celebrated all the March 
birthdays. We welcomed the Big Grove Homemakers as 
guests. Pauline Schminke brought Mariann Kerkman as her 
guest. Marge and Milt Smith celebrated Milt’s birthday. 
Donna Hepker was the guest of Stanley Hepker and Marj 
Pepen. We also welcomed Howard Sand and Barb and Sharon 
Sand. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical 
entertainment.

On Wednesday, March 9th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. 
JoAnn Roster handpicked the games and Tammy Rine was the 
volunteer caller. Game one was a Plus Sign with Marge 
Goodell winning. Game two was the Letter “W” with Clete 
Friedman winning. Game three was Wild Number 3 Bingos 
with Mary Rogers winning. Game four was the Letter “T” 
with JoAnn Roster winning. Greta Geiken and JoAnn Roster 
won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, March 10th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. 
Delane Kalina handpicked the games and Vicki Holst was 
the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with JoAnn 
Roster winning. Game two was Postage Stamps with Delane 
Kalina winning. Game three was a Baseball with Annie 
Hopkins winning. Game four was Stairsteps with Joe Healy 
winning. Marion Isabel won game five with blackout.

On Friday, March 11th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. 
Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 4,130 points. Bernadine 
Barr won 2nd place with 4,040 points. Don Selken won 3rd 
place with 3,720 points. After the games, refreshments 
were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by 
HACAP.
