Emily Gorkow, Loan Officer for Cedar Valley Bank & Trust, Vinton, Iowa, has been named to the Iowa Bankers Association's (IBA) Compliance Committee. Gorkow's responsibilities as a committee member will include providing comments and feedback on state and federal regulatory initiatives, and recommending programs and products that enable banks to better manage their compliance needs.
Gorkow has been employed with Cedar Valley Bank and Trust Since March 2016; she has completed the Iowa School of Banking in 2022 and has had an active roll in grant programs offered through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines and various other grants through the City of Vinton and East Central Iowa Housing Trust to assist borrowers in receiving grants for home purchases in Benton County. She is looking forward to sharing ideas from midwest Iowa through a well respected organization that has a direct connection to our statewide and federally elected leaders.
