Business : Something better than the ice cream truck rolled in to VGH Nursing and Rehab

As a special thank you to the Virginia Gay Nursing and Rehab unit here in Vinton, Opal and Hazel's Woodfired Pizza stopped on Friday. The business delivered supper to the staff as a way of thanking the facility for the care given to Scott's dad, Jim Merchant.

Jim passed away last May, and the family wanted to do something special to show their appreciation for all who helped Jim and his family during their time of loss. 

Altogether, Opal and Hazel delivered 60 pizzas to the staff, as well as the doctors and nurses who helped to take care of Jim. I had to ask, "How long does it take to crank out that many pizzas?" Well, it's a full day's work..but well worth it to a grateful family!
