Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Don Selken won 1st place with 255 points. Mary Rogers won 2nd place with 248 points. Leroy Winser and Merle Roths tied for 3rd place with 242 points. Refreshments were provided by the card club and beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, April 12th, everyone celebrated the April birthdays. Those celebrating were Marj Pepin Phyllis Ebert and Don Dvorak. Don won the door prize. There were 9 guests of the celebrants. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical entertainment. On Wednesday, April 13th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Delane Kalina handpicked the games and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was the Letter “X” with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a Baseball with George Eckhart winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game four was a Flag and Clete Friedman was the winner. Ruth Wieditz won game five with blackout. On Thursday, April 14th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Evelyn Greenwood handpicked the games and Vicki Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with George Eckhart winning. Game two was Picnic Table with Nelda Eckhart, JoAnn Roster, Greta Geiken, and Evelyn Greenwood all winning. Game three was Four Corners and a Small Picture Frame with Greta Geiken winning. Game four was Four Postage Stamps with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Greta Geiken won game five with blackout. Friday, April 15th, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Bernadine Barr won 1st place with 3,710 points. Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 3,570 points. Glen Kester won 3rd place with 2, 970 bpoints. Refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages. On Monday, April 18th, there were 4 tables of pepper cards played. Don Selken won 1st place with 275 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 265 points. Frances Kelly won 3rd place with 253 points. After the games, Bernadine Barr brought cookies to share. Other refreshments were served by the card club and beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, April 19th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Dora Vogt handpicked the games and Evelyn Greenwood was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Nelda Eckhart and JoAnn Roster both winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Dora Vogt and Nelda Eckhart both winning. Game three was Two Under Each Letter with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was a Flag with Marge Goodell winning. Joe Healy won game five with blackout. On Wednesday, April 20th, the afternoon musical entertainment was provided by Judy Mehlert. On Thursday, April 21st, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with June Salerno handpicking the games. Vicki Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was an Outside Picture Frame with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Evelyn Greenwood and June Salerno both winning. Game three was 3 Bingos on One Card. Faye Goodell and JoAnn Roster both won. Game four was All Around the Free Space with Delane Kalina winning. Faye Goodell won game five with blackout. On Friday, April 22nd, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Don Burmeister won 1st place with 4,310 points. Esther Novotny won 2nd place with 3,260 points. Dora Vogt won 3rd place with 3,060 points.
