Tequilero to open toward the end of November

A little of the progress that has been made inside the new Tequilero restaurant!

There is exciting news in the local restaurant business!

With new owners, a new design and a new look inside, there is a new business coming to town!

Tequilero is making plans to open its doors hopefully the weekend after Thanksgiving.

The restaurant is located in the former Pizza Hut building and is being gutted to add a much more open floor plan. Removing the front wall between the old and new sections makes it feel so much larger inside.

A large bar area is being installed along the south wall for diners to sit at with a drink and/or meal. New seating is also being installed. With a crew in tow, the inside is taking shape and will look completely different. It will be quite an improvement to the building.

RE November 7, 2023, 12:57 pm I mean it's great that something is going to replace the spot however I was really hoping it wouldn't be another Mexican place as Vinton could really use something different.

GP November 15, 2023, 3:26 pm It really is interesting. Because when I moved to Vinton in 2010 there were no Mexican restaurants. At that time I was told unequivocally that "we don't do Mexican here." I guess the times have changed?
