Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on the day of the birthday dinner.

On Tuesday, July 5th, we welcomed the Urbana Card Club as our guests. The afternoon activity was Surprise Bingo. The games were handpicked by Verda Haerther. Norma Ellis was the volunteer caller. Game one was Frame the Free Spot with Faye Goodell winning a birdhouse. Game two was 9-Pack with June Salerno winning a bracelet. Game three was the Letter “H” with Elsie Knaack winning candy. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Marge Goodell winning candy. Marion Isabel won a meal ticket on game five with blackout.

On Wednesday, July 6th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bing. Norma Ellis handpicked the games and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was the Number “4” with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was the Letter “J” with Marion Isabel winning. Game three was 9 Pack with Elsie Knaack winning. Game four was a Baseball with Mae Wilhelmi as the winner. Greta Geiken won game five with blackout.

On Thursday, July 7th, we welcomed Marvin and Christine Boyles, the son of Barb Riggle as our guests. Barb Riggle and Larry Roster provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

Friday, July 8th, there were 4 tables of 500 played. Frances Kelly won 1st place with 3,720 points. Merle Roths won 2nd place with 3,430 points. Geri Shaffer won 3rd place with 2, 780 points. After he games, refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, July 12th, we celebrated all the July birthdays. Those celebrating were Marge Goodell, Geri Shaffer, and Stuart Gulick. There were also 3 guests in attendance. Marge Goodell was the winner of the birthday dinner door prize of a free meal.

On Wednesday, July 13th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno. The volunteer caller was Norma Ellis. Game one was an Outside Picture Frame with Clete Friedman and June Salerno winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three was 3 Bingos with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game four was All Around the Free Space with Mae Wilhelmi as the winner. June Salerno won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, July 14th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Frances Kelly. The volunteer caller was Vicki Holst. Game one was the Letter “K” with Geri Shaffer winning. Game two was Frame the Card and Geri Shaffer was the winner. Game three was a Plus Sign with Geri Shaffer and June Salerno as the winner. Game four was Wild Number with Evelyn Greenwood, Wanda McNitt, and Delane Kalina winning. June Salerno won game five with blackout.

On Friday, July 15th, we recognized the birthdays of Conrad Brehm and Kent Stufflebeam. A game of 500 was played. Glen Kester won 1st place. Irene Geiger won 2nd place. Milo Cobb won 3rd place. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
