Webinars announced for the upcoming year to assist with dairy goat management
The Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Dairy Team will continue its dairy goat webinar series in 2026 for the state’s dairy goat producers and allied industry members. Topics will include timely updates on various aspects of financial management, herd health, animal care and nutrition. All webinars will take place from noon to 1:15 p.m. Central time.
“Dairy goat production is an important industry in Iowa,” said Jenn Bentley, dairy field specialist with ISU Extension and Outreach. “We are very pleased to continue this educational opportunity with a lineup of quality speakers and presenters to provide producers and industry providers with practical take-home information.”
2026 Webinar Sessions
- Jan. 21 – Dairy Goat Records: Gail Carpenter, extension dairy specialist, ISU, and Greg Palas, manager of user support services, Dairy Records Management Systems
- Feb. 18 – Improving Goat Dairy Milk Quality: Lessons from Parlor Audits in Vermont: Whitney Hull, dairy specialist, University of Vermont Extension, and Kelsie Braam, dairy and grazing specialist, UVM Extension
- Mar. 18 – Dairy Goat Profit Analysis: Larry Tranel, dairy field specialist, ISU Extension and Outreach
Topics for April through December will be announced at a later date. There is no fee to attend the webinar sessions; however, registration is required. Registration is only required once to attend any or all webinars.
