Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you
are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the
birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on
the day of the birthday dinner.

EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES.

The meal on Sunday, September 11th, will be Roast Beef,
Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli/ Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green
Salad, Peach Crisp, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, August 1st, the afternoon activity was a Pepper
Card Party with 4 tables of players. Frances Kelly won
1st place with 310 points. Clete Friedman won 2nd place
with 238 points. Marvin Witt won 3rd place 222 points.
Greta Geiken furnished five packages of card for pepper
and 500 for her 81st birthday. After cards, refreshments
were served by the card club and HACAP provided the
beverages.

On Tuesday, August 2nd, the afternoon activity was
Surprise Bingo. The games were handpicked by JoAnn
Roster. Norma Ellis was the volunteer caller. Game one
was the Letter “I” with Clete Friedman winning. Game two
was Four Corners Frame the Free Spot with Elsie Knaack
winning a meal ticket. Game three was Wild Number Three
Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Game four was the
Letter “T” with Dale Anderson winning. JoAnn Roster won
earrings on game five with blackout.

On Wednesday, August 3rd, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. June Salerno handpicked the games and
Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was
the Letter “X” with Marge Goodell winning. Game two was
Four Corners Plus Around Free Spot with Faye Goodell
winning. Game three was Three Bingos on One Card with
Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was Four Corners
with Jeanette Blazicek as the winner. Verda Haerther won
game five with blackout.

On Thursday, August 4th, Barb Riggle and Larry Roster
provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

Friday, August 5th, there were 7 tables of 500 played.
Don Selken won 1st place with 4,090 points. Clete
Friedman won 2nd place with 3,580 points. Merle Roths won
3rd place with 3, 410 points. After the games,
refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP
provided the beverages.

On Monday, August 8th there were 4 tables of Pepper
played. Don Burmeister and Greta Geiken tied for 1st
place with 376 points. Clete Friedman won 3rd place with
261 points.

On Tuesday, August 9th we celebrated all the August
birthdays. Those celebrating were Mary Ellen Rogers, Peg
Schott, Bev Bearbower, Gary Bearbower, Marion Isabel, Bev
Alberts, Evelyn Durrow, Bonnie Fett, Carolyn Howard,
Arlene Merchant and Hazel Merchant. Hazel won the door
prize of the free meal ticket. Stuart Gulick provided the
musical entertainment.

On Wednesday, August 10th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Mae Wilhelmi.
The volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was
the Letter “T” with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game two was
Wild Number Three Bingos with Mae Wilhelmi as the winner.
Game three was a 9-Pack with Greta Geiken as the winner.
Game four was Small Plus and Four Corners with Greta
Geiken winning. Ruth Wieditz and Faye Goodell won game
five with blackout.

On Thursday, August 11th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Verda
Haerther. The volunteer caller was Vickie Holst. Game
one was a Flag with Verda Haerther winning. Game two was
Frame the Free and Four Corners with Faye Goodell as the
winner. Game three was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell and
Clete Friedman as the winner. Game four was the Letter
“H” with Greta Geiken winning. Faye Goodell won game five
with blackout.

On Friday, August 12th, six tables of 500 were played.
Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 3,050 points. Jo Geiger
won 2nd place with 2,790 points. Bernadine Barr won 3rd
place with 2,740 points. After the games, sandwiches were
provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
