Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.
Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on the day of the birthday dinner.

The meal on Sunday, October 2nd, will be Baked Glazed Ham, Baked Potato Half, Peas, Pineapple, Frosted Banana Cake, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, August 15th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. LaVonne Henkle won 1st place with 268 points. Bill Milne and Patty McKenna tied for 2nd place with 249 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages.
On Tuesday, August 16th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Delane Kalina. Vicki Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Yvonne Smith winning. Game two was Stairsteps with Jean Semelroth winning. Game three was Frame the Free Spot and Four Corners with Verda Haerther and Elsie Knaack winning. Game four was the Letter “X” with Jean Semelroth winning. Marge Goodell and Verda Haerther won game five with blackout.
On Wednesday, August 17th, Judy Mehlert provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
On Thursday, August 18th, we welcomed the Golden Girls from Newhall as our guests. The afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo with Evelyn Greenwood handpicking the games. Vicki Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Verda Haerther as the winner. Game two was Frame the Free and Four Corners with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was a picnic table with George Eckhart as the winner. Game four was a Flag with Frances Kelly winning. Cole Hoyt won game five with Blackout.
Friday, August 19th, there were 7 tables of 500 played. Don Selken won 1st place with 3,080 points. Milt Smith won 2nd place with 3,070 points. Irene Geiger won 3rd place with 2,780 points. Bernadine Barr brought cupcakes to share with everyone. Other refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages.
On Monday, August 22nd, there were 5 tables of Pepper played. Clete Friedman won 1st place with 287 points. Geri Shaffer won 2nd place with 277 points. Lois Schmitt won 3rd place with 267 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, August 23rd, Harold and Gerry O’Deen provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
On Wednesday, August 24th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Mae Wilhelmi. The volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was Four Postage Stamps with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Ruth Wieditz as the winner. Game three was a Wild Number Game/3 Bingos with Ruth Wieditz and Mae Wilhelmi as the winners. Game four the Letter “X” with Marge Goodell and Marian Isabel winning. Ruth Wieditz won game five with blackout.
On Thursday, August 25th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Clete Friedman. The volunteer caller was Vicki Holst. Game one was Around th Free Spot and Four Corners with Delane Kalina winning. Game two was Wild Number and 3 Bingos with Ruth Wieditz and Jeanette Blazicek as the winners. Game three was a Flag with Faye Goodell and George Eckhart as the winners. Game four was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning. Clete Friedman won game five with blackout.
On Friday, August 12th, six tables of 500 were played. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 3,840 points. Bill Milne won 2nd place with 3,660 points. Milt Smith won 3rd place with 3,550 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
