Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. On Monday, October 24th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. Frances Kelly won 1st place with 256 points. Mary Rodgers won 2nd place with 249 points. Annie Hopkins won 3rd place with 238 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages. On Tuesday, October 25th, Bob Hauser and Harold O’Deen provided the afternoon musical entertainment. On Wednesday, October 26th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Ruth Wieditz and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was postage stamps with Delane Kalina winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was a Picnic Table with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Faye Goodell and Jeanette Blazicek were the winners on game five with blackout. On Thursday, October 27th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Dora Vogt and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was the Letter “X” with Jeanette Blazicek as the winner. Game two was a 9-Pack with Marion Isabell winning. Game three was Outside Picture Frame with Dora Vogt and Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was Around the Free Space with Dora Vogt and Faye Goodell winning. Faye Goodell and Jeanette Blazicek were the winners on game five with blackout. Friday, October 28th, there were 6 tables of 500 played. Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 4,000 points. Milo Cobb won 2nd place with 3,820 points. Therese Weiser won 3rd place with 3,560 points. After the games, Esther Novotny brought cookies to share. Other refreshments were provided by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages. On Monday, October 31st, there were 5 tables of Pepper Cards played. Bill Milne won 1st place with 337 points. Don Burmeister won 2nd place with 305 points. Joy Baker won 3rd place with 252 points. After the games, Bill Milne brought cookies to share. Other refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, November 1st, the afternoon activity was Surprise Bingo. The games were handpicked by Norma Ellis. Maureen Heisman was the volunteer caller. Game one was a 9-Pack with Judy Boardman winning candy. Game two was Four Postage Stamps with Delane Kalina winning a meal ticket. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Laura Aarhus winning a bracelet. Game four was a Baseball with JoAnn Roster winning a John Deere Hat. Hazel Eastwood won earrings game five with blackout. On Wednesday, November 2nd, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno and Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was an Outside Picture Frame with Marion Isabell and Orville Ellingson winning. Game two was Around the Free Spot with Faye Goodell winning. Game three was Three Bingos on One Card with Faye Goodell, Elsie Knaack, Orville Ellingson, and Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was a Postage Stamp with Faye Goodell winning. Marion Isabell won game five with blackout. On Thursday, November 3rd, Barb Riggle and Larry Roster provided the afternoon musical entertainment.
