Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.

Attn: When planning for the monthly birthday meals, you are strongly encouraged to reserve your seats for the birthday tables. All seats must be reserved by 10 AM on the day of the birthday dinner.

The meal on Sunday, February 19th will be Baked Glazed Ham, Baked Potato Half, Peas, Pineapple, Cake, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, January 9th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party with 5 tables of players. Patty McKenna and Clete Friedman tied for 1st place with 255 points. Lois Schmitt won 3rd place with 229 points. After cards, Patty McKenna brought a plate of cookies to share. Refreshments were served by the card club and HACAP provided the beverages.

On Tuesday, January 10th, we celebrated all the January Birthdays. Those celebrating were Darlene Werning, Thelma Johnson, Elsie Knaack, and Stanley Hepker. There were 6 guests along to celebrate with them. Stanley was the winner of the door prize of a free meal. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon entertainment.

On Wednesday, January 11th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller and Ruth Wieditz handpicked the games. Game one was Stairsteps with Faye Goodell and Clete Friedman winning. Game two was a Flag with JoAnn Roster as the winner. Game three was a 9-Pack with Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game four was Wild Number Three Bingos with Clete Friedman winning. Faye Goodell won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, January 12th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo.

On Friday, January 13th, the afternoon activity was a 500 Card Party. There were 4 tables of players. Leroy Weiser won 1st place with 4,040 points. Bud Barr won 2nd place with 3,740 points. Third place went to Theresa Weiser with 3,060 points.

On Monday, January 16th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party.

On Tuesday, January 17th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Marueen Haismann was the volunteer caller and the games were handpicked by Norma Ellis. Game one was a Layer Cake. Game two was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was Four Postage Stamps with Dale Anderson and JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was a Regular Bingo with Norma Ellis winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, January 18th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Elsie Knaack. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Game one was the Letter “W” with Mae Wilhelmi as the winner. Game two was a 9-Pack with Geraldine Healy winning. Game three was a Flag with Faye Goodell and Hazel Eastwood winning. Game four was a Plus Sign with Geraldine Healty winning. JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, January 19th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked June Salerno and Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Game one was Wild Number Three Bingos with June Salerno winning. Game two was the Letter “X” with Dora Vogt winning. Game three was 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game four was a Flag with Dora Vogt and Dale Anderson winning. Dora Vogt won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, January 20th, everyone enjoyed fellowship time as no cards were played.
