University of Iowa Community Credit Union(UICCU) has opened the doors of a new location at 4728 University Avenue in Cedar Falls. The plans for Black Hawk County don’t stop there.
“We are leasing space at this location while we move ahead with construction of a full-service location a few feet up the road on the northwest corner of CedarHeightsand University Avenue,” commented President and CEO Jeff Disterhoft. “In the meantime, residents will be able to open new accounts and transact business at the 4728 address.”
Since UICCU is a community chartered credit union, anyone living or working in the area can join and receive the benefits of membership.
“We are very excited to play an active role in the growth and prosperity of BlackHawkCounty,” commented Disterhoft. “Our long term plan is to build three new full-service offices in Cedar Fallsand Waterloo. We feel that offering high-yielding deposit products, low-rate loans, and no 1% origination fee on mortgages could be beneficial for anyone living or working in the area.”
