Business : First block party of year set for Thursday on W Fourth Street

The 1st Block Party of the summer is taking place this Thursday, June 14th from 5 – 8pm. Stop at L Marie & Koop’s Automotive for Fun, Food, and Live Music!

This Block Party is the start of a new event to help highlight the products and services that are found right here in Vinton, Iowa. We look forward to hosting our 1st one with Koop’s Automotive and L Marie Boutique! Koop’s is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new location along 4th Street. L Marie will also be participating by having a wine tasting and promoting the new Summer Product Line in their store.

"We are providing sandwiches from Smokin' in the Cedar," said Jeremy Koopman. "We will have games and things, a little grand opening basically."

Chloe the clown will be there, along with her son, providing entertainment and balloons.

Vinton Unlimited plans to continue partnering with businesses throughout town to showcase all of the things you can find right here in Vinton and we are looking forward to expanding this event in the months ahead. Bring your entire family, relax with friends, and enjoy the opportunity to play games and listen to great music at L Marie & Koop’s Automotive this Thursday night!
