Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet. Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration. On Monday, July 9th, the afternoon activity was a Pepper Card Party. There were 4 tables of players. Frances Kelly won 1st place with 300 points. Clete Friedman won 2nd place with 280 points. Leroy Wieser won 3rd place with 274 points. After cards, refreshments were served by the card club. HACAP provided the beverages. On Tuesday, July 10th, we celebrated all the July Birthdays. Those honored were Geri Shaffer, Larry Cirkl, Orville Ellingson, Conrad Brehm, and Stuart Gulick. Geri Shaffer won the Vinton Value Dollars and Orville Ellingson won the free meal. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical entertainment. On Wednesday, July 11th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. The volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington.
