Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through 

Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.



Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for 

individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse 

(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals 

who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for 

their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver 

meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. 

The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or 

older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid 

supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.



Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to 

celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always 

scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone 

having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged 

to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they 

would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday 

celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday 

Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We 

currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. 

The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars 

generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a 

gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. 

Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by 

calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 

AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, December 23rd, Baked 

Glazed Ham, Baked Potato Half, Peas, Pineapple, Cake, WW 

Bread, Milk.



On Monday, November 5th, the activity of the day was a 

Pepper Card Party. There were four tables of players. 

Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 270 points. Don Selken 

won 2nd place with 266 points. Third place went to 

Bernadine Barr with 254 points. After the games, 

refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were 

provided by HACAP.



On Tuesday, November 6th, the afternoon activity was 

Surprise Bingo. Hazel Eastwood handpicked the games. 

Game one was a 9-Pack with Faye Goodell winning a large 

cup. Game two was the Letter “X” with Ruth Wieditz 

winning a picture tree. Game three was a Picnic Table 

with George Eckhart winning a deck of cards. Game four 

was Wild Number Three Bingos with Elsie Knaack winning 

candy. Hazel Eastwood won a meal ticket on game five with 

Blackout.



On Wednesday, November 7th, the afternoon activity was 

10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. 

Elsie Knaack handpicked the games. Game one was a Flag 

with Geri Shaffer winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with 

George Eckhart winning. Game three was Stair Steps with 

Faye Goodell winning. Game four was the Letter “I” with 

Faye Goodell winning. Marion Isbell won game five with 

Blackout.



On Thursday, November 8th, the afternoon activity was 

10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. 

Evelyn Greenwood handpicked the games. Game one was a 

9-Pack with Hazel Eastwood winning. Game two was Wild 

Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken and Evelyn Greenwood 

winning. Game three was the Letter “L” with Hazel 

Eastwood winning. Game four was Four Corners and Frame 

the Free Spot with Norman “Clair” Sloan winning. Evelyn 

Greenwood won game five with a Blackout.



On Friday, November 9th, there were 5 tables of 500 

played. Margaret Fuehrer won 1st place with 3,310 points. 

Glenn Kester won 2nd place with 3,200 points. Bud Barr 

won 3rd place with 2,950 points. After the games, 

refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were 

provided by HACAP.



On Monday, November 12th, there were 4 tables of Pepper 

Cards played. Hazel Eastwood won 1st place with 306 

points. Esther Novotny won 2nd place with 276 points. 

Bernadine Barr won 3rd place with 275 points. After the 

games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages 

were provided by HACAP.



On Tuesday, November 13th, we celebrated the November 

Birthdays and enjoyed the music by Stuart Gulick.



On Wednesday, November 14th, the activity was 10-Cent 

Bingo.



On Thursday, November 15th, everyone enjoyed the delicious 

Thanksgiving Dinner and fellowship with each other.



On Friday, November 16th, the afternoon activity was a 500 

Card Party with 4 tables of players. Milo Cobb and Don 

Burmeister tied for 1st place with 3,840 points. Geri 

Shaffer won 3rd place with 3,640 points. After the games, 

refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were 

provided by HACAP.



On Monday, November 19th, there were 5 tables of Pepper 

Cards played. Bill Milne won 1st place with 283 points. 

Frances Kelly won 2nd place with 251 points. Margaret 

Fuehrer won 3rd place with 244 points. Frances Kelly 

brought a birthday cake to share with everyone after cards 

were done. Other refreshments were provided by the card 

club and beverages were provided by HACAP.



On Tuesday, November 20th, the afternoon activities were 

cancelled.



On Wednesday, November 21st, everyone enjoyed the music by 

Larry Holst.
