Among the best care centers in the US: VGH Nursing & Rehab earns 5 Stars

The Virginia Gay Hospital Nursing and Rehab Center was one of just over 3,000 of the 16,000 nursing homes in the United States to earn a 5-Star rating from Nursing Home Compare, the federal government’s official evaluator of nursing homes.

The those 5-Star facilities are listed in a recent US News & World Report publication called “Best Nursing Homes.”

Jess Henkle is the Nurse Manager at VGH Nursing and Rehab, which has earned many awards in recent years.

“My congratulations go to Jess and her staff for the fine work they do,” said VGH Administrato Mike Riege.

TB February 28, 2013, 1:40 pm Have no experience with Nursing & Rehab but I do know that the hospital is \"5 stars\" in my book. Recent ER visits and hospitalizations have shown me that Vinton has a true treasure that is often times taken for granted. The staff is remarkable and care is second to none.
