Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.
Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to
celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always
scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone
having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged
to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they
would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday
celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday
Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We
currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month.
The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars
generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a
gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal.
Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by
calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00
AM on the day of the celebration.

EATS A MEAL AT THE SITE DURING MEAL SERVICE TIMES.
The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, April 14th, will be
Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli, Mixed Green
Salad, Blushing Pears, Cake, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, March 11, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards
played. First place went to LaVonne Henkle with 275
points. Bernadine Barr took 2nd place with 263 points.
Third place went to Irene Geiger with 243 points. After
the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Patty
McKenna also brought treats to share for her 91st
birthday. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, March 12th, we celebrated all the March
birthdays. Mildred Hilmer and Betty Lawrence were those
honored. Betty won the free meal gift certificate.
Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon musical
entertainment.
On Wednesday, March 13th, the activity of the day was
10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller.
The games were handpicked by June Salerno. Game one was
Postage Stamps with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was
the Letter “X” with Geri Shaffer winning. Game three was
Wild Number Three Bingos with Greta Geiken winning. Game
four was All Around the Free Spot with Marion Isbell as
the winner. Greta Geiken and Orville Ellingson won game
five with Blackout.
On Thursday, March 14th, the activity of the day was
10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller.
Faye Goodell handpicked the games. Game one was Four
Corners All Around the Free Spot with Elsie Knaack
winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Greta Geiken winning.
Game three was Upside Down Staircase with Esther Novotny
winning. Game four was a Layer Cake with Esther Novotny
winning. George Eckhart won game five with Blackout.
On Friday, March 15th, there were 5 tables of 500 Cards
played. Geri Shaffer took first place with 3,260 points.
Second place went to Edna Schutt with 3,070 points.
Third place went to Don Selken with 2,770 points. After
the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club.
HACAP provided the beverages.
On Monday, March 16th, the activity of the day was a
Pepper Card Party. After the games, refreshments were
provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, March 19th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo.
Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. Ruth Wieditz
handpicked the games. Game one was Postage Stamps with
Marvin Witt and Marion Isbell winning. Game two was Wild
Number Three Bingos with Ruth Wiedtiz winning. Game three
was a Flag with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was the
Letter “W” with George Eckhart winning. June Salerno won
game five with Blackout.
On Wednesday, March 20th, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller.
Hazel Eastwood handpicked the games. Game one was a
9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was Four
Postage Stamps with Orville Ellingson winning. Game three
was Wild Number Three Bingos with Ruth Wieditz winning.
Game four was Stair Steps with George Eckhart winning.
JoAnn Roster and Hazel Eastwood won game five with
Blackout.
On Thursday, March 21st, the afternoon activity was
10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller.
Evelyn Greenwood handpicked the games. Game one was a
9-Pack with Hazel Eastwood winning. Game two was Stair
Steps with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was Wild
Number Three Bingos with Marvin Witt as the winner. Game
four was a Layer Cake with Marion Isbell and Geri Shaffer
winning. Elsie Knaack and George Eckhart won game five
with Blackout.
On Friday, March 22nd, it was recognized as Happy Ted
Cottrell Day. There were 5 tables of 500 played. Leroy
Weiser won 1st place with 2,960 points. Don Selken won
2nd place with 2,750 points. Wilma Loutsch won 3rd place
with 2,660 points. After the games, refreshments were
provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
