Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.

Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn. The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County. Please call 319-472-4761 for more information about services or to reserve a table for groups of 3c or more.

Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month. The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal. Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00 AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, April 21st, will be Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW Bread, Milk.

On Monday, March 25th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards played. First place went to Patty McKenna with 275 points. Geri Shaffer took a close 2nd place with 274 points. Third place went to Lois Romman with 256 points. After the games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, March 26th, Hauser-O’Deen provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Wednesday, March 27th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Glenda Kerkman was the volunteer caller. The games were handpicked by Norma Ellis. Game one was the Letter “E” with George Eckhart winning. Game two was a Postage Stamp with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game three was Stair Steps with Norma Ellis and Greta Geiken winning. Game four was Three Bingos with June Salerno as the winner. Greta Geiken won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, March 28th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Frances Kelly handpicked the games. Game one was a 9-Pack with Frances Kelly winning. Game two was a Cross with Greta Geiken winning. Game three was Wild Number Three Bingos with Evelyn Greenwood winning. Game four was a Straight Line Four Corners with George Eckhart winning. Geri Shaffer won game five with Blackout.

On Friday, March 29th, there were 5 tables of 500 Cards played. Leroy Weiser took first place with 3,320 points. Second place went to Merle Roth with 3,190 points. Third place went to Don Selken with 3,110 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. HACAP provided the beverages.

On Monday, April 1st, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party. There were 4 tables of players. Merle Roth won first place with 294 points. Bud Barr and Evelyn Greenwood tied for second place. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.

On Tuesday, April 2nd, the activity was Surprise Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. George Eckhart and June Salerno handpicked the games. Game one was a Stair Step with Marvin Witt winning lotion. Game two was Frame the Card with Elmer Stein winning and angel pin. Game three was the Letter “X” with Beverly Stein winning lotion. Game four was Four Postage Stamps with Norma Ellis winning lotion. June Salerno won a meal ticket on game five with Blackout.

On Wednesday, April 3rd, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller. Elsie Knaack handpicked the games. Game one was Frame the Free Spot and Four Corners with Elsie Knaack winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three was a Plus Sign with Faye Goodell and Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game four was a Baseball with Geri Shaffer winning. Mae Wilhelmi won game five with Blackout.

On Thursday, April 4th, Barb Riggle provided the afternoon musical entertainment.

On Friday, April 5th, there were 5 tables of 500 played. Margaret Fueher won 1st place with 3,060 points. Greta Geiken won 2nd place with 2,920 points. Geri Shaffer won 3rd place with 2,750 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by HACAP.
