Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

services or to reserve a table for groups of 3 or more.
Each month the 4th St Diner has a special day set aside to
celebrate birthdays for that month. It is always
scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. Anyone
having a birthday for that particular month is encouraged
to make a reservation for themselves and any guests they
would like to celebrate with. The names of all birthday
celebrants who have made a reservation for the Birthday
Table are entered into the door prize drawing. We
currently have two door prizes scheduled for each month.
The first is $5 in Vinton Unlimited Value Dollars
generously donated by Vinton Unlimited. The second is a
gift certificate for a free 4th Street Diner meal.
Reservations for the Birthday Dinner table can be made by
calling 472-4761. Reservations need to be made by 10:00
AM on the day of the celebration.

The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, June 30th, will be
Roast Pork, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches,
Custard, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, May 20th, there were 4 tables of Pepper Cards
played. First place went to Dixie Lee Joens with 275
points. Helen Purdy won 2nd place with 245 points. Third
place went to Darlene Werning with 238 points. After the
games, refreshments were served by Card Club. Beverages
were provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, May 21st, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent
Bingo. Maureen Haisman was the volunteer caller. The
games were handpicked by Norma Ellis. Game one was a Flag
with Norma Ellis as the winner. Game two was 9-Pack and
Three Bingos with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was
Four Postage Stamps with Greta Geiken as the winner. Game
four was a 3-Layer Cake with Greta Geiken as the winner.
Marion Isbell won with a Blackout on game five.
On Wednesday, May 22nd, the activity of the day was
10-Cent Bingo. Wendy Pennington was the volunteer caller.
The games were handpicked by Mae Wilhelmi. Game one was
a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was Wild
Number Three Bingos with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game three
was the Letter “Y” with Elsie Knaack winning. Game four
was Two Hardway Bingos with Greta Geiken as the winner.
JoAnn Roster won game five with Blackout.
On Thursday, May 23rd, the activity of the day was 10-Cent
Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. Marion
Isbell handpicked the games. Game one was a Plus Sign
with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was Four Corners and
Frame the Free Spot with Greta Geiken winning. Game three
was a 9-Pack with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was
Wild Card Three Bingos with Geri Shaffer, Ruth Wieditz,
and Hazel Eastwood winning. Hazel Eastwood won game five
with Blackout.
On Friday, May 24th, there 4 tables of 500 Cards played.
Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 3,410 points. Marg Foster
won 2nd place with 2,830 points. Milo Cobb won 3rd place
with 2,150 points. After the games, refreshments were
provided by the Card Club. HACAP provided the beverages.
On Tuesday, May 28th, Hauser and O’Deen provided the
afternoon musical entertainment.
On Wednesday, May 29th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent
Bingo with Wendy Pennington choosing the games and the
volunteer. Game one was a 9-Pack with JoAnn Roster as the
winner. Game two was the Letter “K” with Evelyn Greenwood
as the winner. Game three was Two Bingos Hardway with Mae
Wilhelmi as the winner. Game four was a Large Diamond
with Ruth McNitt winning. Greta Geiken won game five with
Blackout.
On Thursday, May 30th, the afternoon activity was 10-Cent
Bingo. Vickie Holst was the volunteer caller. George
Eckhart handpicked the games. Game one was Stairsteps
with JoAnn Roster winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with
George Eckhart winning. Game three was Wild Number Three
Bingos with Esther Novotny winning. Game four was the
Letter “W” with Marion Isbell winning. Geri Shaffer won
game five with Blackout.
On Friday, May 31st, there were 5 tables of 500 played.
Nellie Cobb won 1st place with 3,580 points. Don Selken
won 2nd place with 3,370 points. Frances Kelly won 3rd
place with 2,930 points. After the games, refreshments
were provided by Card Club. Beverages were provided by
HACAP.

If you need a ride in, please contact Linda Lough and she will try to arrange a volunteer through the Benton County Volunteer Program (319-472-2830) to transport you to the Evening Meals, or you can contact them.
HACAP's 4th Street Diner is for EVERYONE! The suggested contribution is $2.75 for individuals age 60 years old or older, and their spouse (regardless of age). The cost to individuals who are younger than 60 is $3.75. Unfortunately Home Delivered Meals are not available for Evening Meals, but carryout meals are available during every scheduled meal; please call 472-4761 to place your order.
