Although there are no Vinton-Shellsburg singers in the Celebration Iowa show this year, many people came to see the show at the VSHS auditorium Saturday evening. The only area performer was Andy Heckroth of Dysart, a member of the Union High School Band. He played an alto sax solo early in the Celebration Iowa Show Saturday night. Many who attended the show praised the performance. "I think it's the best Celebration Iowa show I have ever seen," said one Vinton audience member.
