Entertainment : High School Drama to present “Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairy Tale”

Vinton-Shellsburg High School Drama Department students are letting down their hair next week!  “Rapunzel!  Rapunzel!  A Very Hairy Fairy Tale” takes the stage Saturday, April 18 at 7 pm, and Sunday, April 19 at 2 pm.  Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the door.

 

Rapunzel will be played by Hannah Haisman, with Lindsey Miller, Caleb Kruckenberg, and Lily Horst as The Gargoyles, Celia Turner as Lady ZaZa, Kyle Jorgensen as Sir Roderick, Logan Murray as Edgar the Hairdresser, Michelle Patrilla as Gypsy, and Jordan Schoettmer and Abby Scheel as the King and Queen.  Other cast members include Brittany Grendler, Alyssa Bunge, Eric Noe, and Kristen Halstead as the ZaZa Ladies, Emily Reisch as the Peasant Girl, and Muriel Glynn as the Peasant Mother.  Katie Langstraat serves as Assistant Director and Sound Director, with Caitlin Martin on Lights.  Set Crew and Trees are Owen Sloop, Gracie Horst, Sarah Schminke, and Claire Smith.
