Entertainment : “Mary Ingalls – Her Journey” opens tonight in IBSSS auditorium

At 7:00 p.m. tonight begins the three- performance run of the 2nd season for “Mary Ingalls – Her Journey” on the Iowa Braille and Sight Saving School auditorium stage. There’s still room for you, so make space in your weekend for us.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. giving you time to explore Old Main – take a look at the vintage photo display in the main hall, see the Founders Room and the museum.  There will be hosts in the museum area on 3rd floor to tell you a little about the space and answer questions. 

The IBSSS Mary Ingalls Society is again very excited to bring you the Pageant in this historic and beautiful setting.  Many of the furnishings in the production are from the school and some could have been used by Mary during her time here.  There is something quite special about being able to experience this story in the very place it was lived out.   

Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door.  Performances are tonight at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
