Entertainment : In Depth: 'Zoolander 2' brings another dose of 'stupid funny' to Palace

After 15 years in deep freeze, writer/director/star Ben Stiller thaws out his beloved, pea-brained male model Derek Zoolander for a belated sequel and, in the face of the cosmic odds against it, it's quite a fun lame-brained laughfest.  – Jim  Schembri

Who doesn’t love a dose of stupid funny?  You’ll get more than your fair share this week at the Palace.  “Zoolander 2” plays Friday, March 11 through Thursday, March 17 at 7 pm, and Monday, March 14 at 2 pm.

Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz, Benedict Cumberbatch, Kristen Wiig – a long list of comedic heavy hitters – round out the cast that also includes a brief cameo by Justin Bieber playing….Justin Bieber.

“Zoolander 2” runs an hour and forty minutes and is rated PG-13 for just what you’d expect – naughty language, exaggerated violence, and some crude and sexual references.

And honestly, it then becomes very funny, funny enough that my wife observed that she thought I was going to have a stroke, as I was laughing so much. I was also laughing hard enough that I stopped taking notes.  – Glenn Kenney
