If you liked "Frozen" but wish it had been angrier, "The Huntsman: Winter's War" is for you. -Christy Lemire
"Winter's War" plays Friday, May 13 thru Thursday, May 19 at 7 pm, and Monday, May 16 at 2 pm.
This PG-13 action adventure is the story of two queens, one of whom can shoot ice from her fingertips when she gets angry. You know, like Elsa. But that's where the similarity ends. No happy songs in this dark sequel.
Chris Hemsworth reprises his role as the huntsman, and Charlize Theron is once again the wicked queen Ravenna. Liam Neeson and Jessica Chastain bring more star power.
"The Huntsman: Winter's War" runs 114 minutes. If you haven't been able to "Let it Go," perhaps this grown-up take on the tale will do the trick!
JUNE
First up - "Captain America: Civil War," followed by "Angry Birds," "Alice Through the Looking Glass," and "X-MEN: Apocalypse." We love summer blockbuster season!
