Yes! The Palace is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas! “Tangled” plays a 2 p.m. only show on the 24th and a 7 p.m. show on the 25th. Staffer Tony Bopp will man the helm on Christmas Eve, with the Horsts in concessions, and the Horst Family, with volunteer Nancy Good in the box office, will cover the actual holiday.
As Gerald and Tony are both “men of good cheer,” I predict lots of give-aways during those two shows!
“Tangled,” rated PG, is the 3D animated adventure of Rapunzel and her smoldering rescuer Flynn Rider. This show will run every evening at 7 p.m. beginning Saturday, December 25, and will also show in several 2 p.m. matinees throughout the week, including Friday, December 24, Sunday, December 26, Monday, December 27 and Wednesday, December 29.
“Tangled” is the perfect Christmas activity for YOUR WHOLE FAMILY – moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins and kids! Even those Scrooges who think they’re too old and cranky to enjoy RealD 3D animation need to experience it in an auditorium filled to the brim with youthful enthusiasm and wonder.
There is really nothing better than starting a movie and slipping into a theatre full of kids (of all ages!) to hear their initial reaction when the first RealD promo hits the silver screen. They just can’t contain themselves!
Don’t take my word for it. Check out the holiday, hair-raising fun this week at the Only $3 3D in the World!
FYI – for those box office watchers – Hair is beating out Harry, with “Tangled” topping “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” by just over $4 million. Harry 7 part 1 comes to the Palace next. I wonder which film will crown our box office?
LAST MINUTE SHOPPERS
Palace Bucks, Palace Bucks, Palace Bucks! And remember, giving 10-year anniversary and $3 3D T-shirts will also provide your loved one with a FREE small popcorn every time he or she wears it to the theatre.
Merry Christmas from the Palace Theatre!
