Tom Hanks is Mister Rogers in this touching story based on the real-life friendship between humble star Fred Rogers and cynical journalist Tom Junod, played by Matthew Rhys. When Junod is tasked with writing about Fred Rogers, he overcomes his skepticism, and discovers kindness and decency with America's most beloved neighbor.

My millenials don't know Mister Rogers. Just those of us who grew up watching four channels on our one TV set remember the beloved after school public television children's show.
