Entertainment : Auditions Announced for the Remainder of ACT I’s Current Season

ACT I of Benton County is pleased to announce audition dates for the remaining productions of the current season.

Auditions forBetrayal by Harold Pinter and for the adult roles in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson will be held Sunday, September 25 at 2:00 pm and Monday, September 26 at 7:00 pm at the ACT I Studio above Clingman Pharmacy.

For Betrayal, two men and one woman, with an approximate age range of 25 – 45, are needed.  Rehearsals for Betrayal will begin September 28, with performances November 11 and 12 at the Vinton Country Club.

For Christmas Pageant we are looking for two men and seven women, with a flexible age range from 25 – 70.

Auditions for the children’s roles in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be held on Sunday, October 3 at 2:00 pm and Monday, October 4 at 6:30 pm in the ACT I Studio.

We are looking for approximately 25 boys and girls for characters between the ages of 8 and 14, with roles of varying sizes.

In addition, we will cast approximately 5 children in the 4 – 7 year age range.

Rehearsals for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will begin October 16.  The show will run December 2 – 11 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Auditions for Godspell will be held January 2 and 3.  More particulars on the Godspell auditions will be announced at a later time.

Director for both Betrayal and Godspell will be Nich Radcliffe.  Director for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be Steve Arnold, assisted by Ian Stuelke.
