Yes, sir, Chuck! It's time for the Vinton-Shellsburg Drama Department and Director Marcy Horst to present "Love's a Mystery, Charlie Brown!"

The famous characters the comic strip and TV show come alive again on the VSHS stage as Charlie Brown and his friends bring their familiar phrases. The teacher's incomprehensible voice, the familiar music, and the nicknames that Peppermint Patty (Shannon Fox) and Marcy (Steph Berry) use are among the things that Peanuts fans will remember well.

About "Love's a Mystery..."

Why are little curly haired girls so hard to talk to? Come help Charlie Brown and the whole Peanuts gang figure it out.  The Vinton-Shellsburg High School Drama Department will present the Spring Play on Saturday, April 6 at 7 pm, and Sunday, April 7 at 2 pm in the VSHS auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.

“Love’s a Mystery, Charlie Brown” features a humorous and reminiscent collection of skits by Charles Schultz, arranged by director Marcy Horst.  The Peanuts Gang characters are played by Will Hancock as Charlie Brown, Alexis Peterson as Sally, Alyssa Cantrell as Lucy, Austin Bader as Linus, Emma Lippmann as Frieda the little curly-haired girl, Nick Gardiner as Schroeder, Shannon Fox as Peppermint Patty, Stephanie Berry as Marcie, Josh Ridley as Snoopy, Kyra Blix as Woodstock, Jonah Blix as Pigpen, Lily Horst as Violet, and Keri Webster as Claudia.
