Are you a good witch, or a bad witch?
Hop on your broomstick or hitch a ride in a magic bubble! You won’t want to miss out. “OZ: The Great and Powerful” in stunning 3D lights up the Palace on Friday, April 12 through Thursday, April 18 at 7 pm, and Monday, April 15 at 2 pm.
James Franco (OZ), Michelle Williams (Glinda), Mila Cunis (Wicked 1), and Rachel Weisz (Wicked 2) round out the all star cast of this long-awaited prequel. “OZ” has a lot to live up to, as both the original 1939 Judy Garland film, based on the novel by L. Frank Baum, and “Wicked,” the award winning Broadway musical based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, continue to thrill and amaze audiences.
The survey of professional movie critics on rottentomatoes.com gives this film a full tomato (as opposed to a splat!), as do audiences. But don’t take their word for it – come judge for yourself.
3D tickets are just $4 at the Palace – the Only $4 4D in the World – our 4th dimension is FUN!
I know. Lame. Don’t worry ,we won’t be printing that on a t-shirt. But it’s all I’ve got today. My broomstick’s in the shop.
“OZ” is rated PG and runs just over two hours – so bring the munchkins, but perhaps not the tiniest.
Yes, we do charge for babies and small children, even if they sit on your lap. As we like to tell (warn) folks – it’s cheaper than a babysitter, but perhaps not as enjoyable. 99% of the moms and dads who bring babies to the movie spend most of it in the lobby.
Follow the red brick roads! There’s no place like the Vinton Palace Theatre !
