Entertainment : In Depth - 'Fast and Furious 6'

“Fast and Furious 6,” yep SIX – there are now more revved up, edgy race car movies in the Vin Diesel/Paul Walker franchise than you can count on one hand, opens Friday, June 14 through Thursday, June 20 at 7 pm, and Monday, June 17 at 2 pm.

The “Fast and Furious” series is like a soap opera for adrenaline junky gear heads. If you’ve faithfully watched the other five, all your favorites are back, including at least one you thought was dead!

This action thriller runs almost two and a half hours and is rated PG-13. Please take my word for it – your younger kids don’t like long, almost R-rated films. Our lobby was crowded with frustrated moms and dads managing disinterested and scared little ones last week during the “Iron Man 3” run.

Drop the kids at grandmas so you can enjoy a large popcorn and Skittles in your comfy $3 seat at the Palace!

Patrons are invited to join us next week on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for our 10 am showings of the Disney Nature Film, “Earth.” Due to the day camp, we will NOT be able to sell tickets in advance. Doors open at 9:45 am. Admission is $3.
