IA Dept. of Ag. Urges Iowans to be on the Lookout for Spotted Lanternflies

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) is asking Iowans to be on the lookout for spotted lanternfly (SLF) insects. The colorful but invasive and destructive insect is native to Asia and was unintentionally introduced into Pennsylvania in 2014.

I recently read 'I Feel Bad About My Neck and Other Thoughts on Being a Woman' by Nora Ephron, and I was immediately drawn in by the title—mostly because, truthfully, my neck was the first part of my body to show its age once I hit my 40s! That bit of humor, paired with my admiration for Ephron’s work, made this a must-read.
