Dr. Tony Anthony Scholarship and Dottie Anderson Donation Gives to VGH Employees
Dottie Anderson - Thank you for your generous donation supporting VGH! Congratulations to: Christina Harrelson and Marita Perez! In 2008, Dottie Anderson established the Dr. Tony Anthony Scholarship which supports an annual $500 scholarship for staff of VGH Nursing & Rehab. Thomas awarded scholarship from Arnold Motor Supply
Amy Thomas of Brandon, received a $1,000 scholarship presented to her by Arnold Motor Supply. She is the daughter or Brian and Kelly Thomas. Brian owns and operate Thomas Repair in Brandon. Tyson Fleshner of La Porte City, IA was awarded the $1,250 Rain and Hail Insurance Services Scholarship by the Iowa Foundation for Agricultural Advancement (IFAA) during the Iowa State Fair Sale of Champions on Saturday August 21, 2021. Tyson's parents are Travis and Stacy Fleshner.The IFAA established the Winner's Circle Scholarship Program in 1990 to provide incentives for college-bound youth seeking post-secondary education in an area of agriculture. Grant Severtsgaard of the Bruce Boosters in Benton County, brought in a first place ribbon with his State Fair Entry. He preserved and mounted a wild turkey fan. Severtsgaard entered this into the Iowa State Fair Exhibits & Communications competition in the Static department of the Ag & Natural Resources, under the Fish & Wildlife class.
