Area student named to Dean's List at UW-River Falls

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls spring semester Dean's List honoring 1,788 students has been released by Registrar Kelly Browning. To be named to the Dean's List, a full-time undergraduate must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0, or midway between an "A" and "B" average. From Urbana, Hannah Kress, majoring in Animal Science.

Iowa State University announces spring 2021 Dean's List

More than 10,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2021 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded coursework.  Students listed below are from our area.

Dalton named to Dean's List at Luther College

           Newelle Dalton, Luther College first-year of Urbana, Iowa, has been named to the 2021 Spring Dean's List.Luther College's Spring 2021 Dean's List includes 738 students; 64 first-years, 167 sophomores, 169 juniors and 338 seniors. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.

Bandy among Iowa Lakes Community College Spring 2021 Honors List

Iowa Lakes Community College recognizes students for their academic excellence President's List. Among those recognized were, Matthew Bandy, of Walford, Iowa. Valerie Newhouse, President of Iowa Lakes Community College, releases the 2021 Spring Honors List, which includes full-time students taking 12 credits or more and earning a grade point average of 3.

Alpha Alpha Alpha Honors Awarded to 2 local Central College Graduates

University of Iowa Athletes named to 2021 Spring Academic All-Big Ten Tem

One hundred thirty-nine University of Iowa student-athletes have been named to the 2021 Spring Academic All-Big Ten team, the conference office announced Thursday. The list includes student-athletes from baseball (17), men's golf (4), women's golf (8), rowing (35), softball (12), men's tennis (6), women's tennis (8), men's track and field (20), and women's track and field (29).
