Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa’s Scholarship Process Now Open

The Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa’s scholarship application period is now open and students may apply for scholarships available through CFNEIA at www.cfneia.org/scholarships. The deadline to apply for 2021 scholarships is March 10. CFNEIA awarded nearly $588,770 in scholarships to high school, college, and adult students in 2020.

Iowa State University announces fall 2020 Dean's List

More than 11,000 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2020 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.Students listed below are from your area.

William Penn University recognize students

William Penn University is pleased to announce the following students that have received recognition for the Dean’s List during the fall 2020 semester. To be included on the Dean’s List, a student must complete at least 12 hours of credit with a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.Located in Oskaloosa, Iowa, William Penn University is a four-year liberal arts institution founded in 1873 by Quaker pioneers.

ECC announces 2020 Fall Term Dean's List

One hundred thirty-five students were named to the Fall 2020 (August to December) Dean's List at Ellsworth Community College. To be eligible for the Dean's List, students must have taken 12 or more credit hours during the semester (a full-time class load) and have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average for the Spring 2020 semester (Note: Developmental courses do not count towards GPA.

AREA STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM ALLEN COLLEGE

The following students graduated from Allen College, receiving a degree and if applicable from Allen College. Scholarship Available through Iowa Bankers Association

The Iowa Bankers Association is again accepting applications for the John Hughes Memorial Scholarship to the Iowa School of Banking. This scholarship was established as a memorial in 1986 for Hills, Iowa, banker John Hughes. Two individuals — one from an Iowa college or university and one employed by a news organization in Iowa — will be [sel]ed to receive the annual award.
