Et cetera : Jane Hrabak earns honors in State Fair Beginner's Food Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/13/2013)(readMedia)-- Alisa Link of Des Moines earned First Place Overall in the Food Department Beginner's Contest judged Sunday at the 2013 Iowa State Fair.

Pat Becker of Cumberland won Second Place Overall. Third Place Overall was awarded to Jane M. Hrabak of Belle Plaine.

The contest was open to adults competing in the Iowa State Fair Food Department for the first time. Entries were judged on taste, appearance and originality.
