Et cetera : Meet the Artists: Gloria Orcutt

Gloria Orcutt is one of the artists preparing for the June 21 Festival.

Today's featured artist is Gloria Lundvall Orcutt.

Gloria is one of many artists who will participate in the June 21 Arts Festival being organized by the new Vinton Guild of Fine Arts.

She is retired and lives in Vinton.

"I started painting in 2003 by taking an adult education class in oil painting. I liked it continued taking classes for over two years," she said. "I have also taken many workshops and on line classes."

Gloria has recieved blue ribbons from the Benton County Fair, and has shared her work at Boom Fest and other area events.

"I enjoy the creative process and want others to find the delight that I have found in painting," says Gloria.
