Et cetera : Area students graduate from Wartburg

Wartburg College awarded diplomas to 323 students during Spring Commencement May 25.

Area students include:

Alyssa Hanson of Vinton graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics.

Kathryn Henderson of Vinton graduated with a degree in Biology.

Weston Hennings of Dysart graduated with a degree in Biology.

Matthew Kehrli of Mount Auburn graduated with a degree in Chemistry.

Wartburg, a four-year liberal arts college internationally recognized for community engagement, enrolls 1,714 students. Wartburg is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and named after the castle in Germany where Martin Luther took refuge disguised as a knight during the stormy days of the Reformation, while translating the Bible from Greek into German.
