Et cetera : $100+1: Bethlehem Lutheran Celebrates by giving in December 2014

On December 28, 2014 Bethlehem Lutheran recognized by presenting the December 2014 gift of $101.00 to the V-S Fine Arts Century Club. This organization is about monetary assistance for the band, choir visual arts, speech and drama programs. It is no secret that the school budgets are very tight and there are often times where no extra money is available to support these programs. The funds from this club are not intended to replace the school's budget but to assist in meeting some of the needs of these programs. Some of the past projects that the Century Club has assisted with are: Assistance or funding for the play props and play props, as well as a scrim for the Drama Department... Overnight accommodations for student in the Speech Club, the Honor Band and Honor Choir... The Century Club also challenged the community to help purchase a grand piano by providing the first $1,000.00 toward this project, and also provided funds toward the recent purchase of upright pianos for the music department.
