On May 31, 2015, Bethlehem Lutheran Church presented a gift of $102.00 to the North Benton Ambulance Service. North Benton Ambulance Service was established in 1970 and became incorporated in 1975. North Benton is licensed as a critical Care Transport Ambulance Service. The Service receives no federal or state tax money, and is solely funded by donations and revenue from patient care and transport. It is accredited by the Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau of Emergency Medical Systems. North Benton Ambulance services our area with a staff of between 20-25 personnel consisting of Critical Care Paramedics, Paramedics, Advanced Emergency Technicians, and Emergency Medical Technicians. They are equipped with 2 Advanced Life Support equipped ambulances, automated and enhanced ventilators, a mechanical CPR device and Cardiac Monitors capable of identifying heart attacks and can transmit a patient's data to any hospital. Zach Parmater and Tina Eden accepted the gift at the May 31st church service.
