Camille Ione Studer and Nicholas Lloyd Perreault were married on July 25, 2009 in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the brides parents in Vinton.
The double ring ceremony was performed by Audra Harvey, friend of the couple and Edward Van Vliet, friend of the groom.
Camille is the daughter of Dean and Christine Studer, Vinton and Nick is the son of Beverly Perreault and Robert Perreault, both of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore a grecian style, champagne colored gown and carried a bouquet of orange roses, purple status and green bells of Ireland.
Camille was attended by two maids-of-honor, her sisters Laura and Emily Studer of Vinton.
The grooms lifelong friends, Rod Miles, of Edmonton, Alberta and Andrew Collins, Nashville, Tennesee served as best men.
Sophia Studer, sister of the bride was a barefoot flower girl and ringbearer was Selah Harvey, friend of the couple.
Selected readings were given by Seth Studer and Nicole Flynn, brother and sister-in-law of the bride and Vicki Perreault, sister of the groom.
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a dinner reception under white tents decorated with purple, orange, green, blue and pink paper lanterns and floral arrangements in the same colors. At sunset a large bonfire made from white aspen wood was lit by the Masters of Flame, Erik and Nile Studer, brothers of the bride. They also lit over 100 candle lanterns hung from the trees around the reception area.
Following the reception, the couple spent their honeymoon in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of the Vinton-Shellsburg Homeschool Program and a 2007 graduate of Kirkwood Community College. She is currently studying at Watkins College of Art and Design in Nashville, Tennesee working toward a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Eugene Vaters High School, St. Johns, Newfoundland, and a 2002 graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Graphic Design. He currently works as a freelance designer through his company, Nikabrik Design.
The couple is now residing in Nashville, Tennessee.
