Tonight my daughter (Aubree, 4 years old) and I went to Wal-Mart and bought $80.17 worth of razors, toilet paper, Advil, Bayer, Air Wick Room Deodorizers...etc...after coupons our total was only $13.92! These huge savings were courtesy of the residents' and families at Windsor Manor. Over the past several weeks, I’ve had cascades of coupons pouring into my mail box on a regular basis. Somewhere between check-out and massive savings I realized that I had come across an opportunity to help and improve the lives of military families. Despite "guaranteed" pay, many military families are still living from paycheck to paycheck and struggling to make ends meet. Compounded with the stress of consecutive deployments, long training exercises -keeping loved ones from coming home at night- and unpredictable hours, many military families struggle to hold things together- finances only acting as a catalyst for creating broken homes.

Being a military wife I have decided to accumulate an inventory of coupons and challenge myself to maximize savings in order to acquire merchandise to hand out to other military families and hopefully aid in alleviating some of the stress experienced by our service members and their families. I just wanted to take a moment and say “Thank You” for helping with "Coupons for a Cause". I am overwhelmed and overjoyed each and every single time I go to the mailbox and see a package from Iowa! I can't even begin to thank you or Windsor Manors residents' for being so extremely generous with your coupons. I am passionate about being able to "Coupon for a Cause" and get items cheap/free that will bring a smile to someone’s face, or make their life a little easier. Thanks to all of you, I am able to do that. Please! Keep the cascade flowing!
