Et cetera : 2-1-1 Call Center Sees Call Increase Due to Tax Season‏

United Way 2-1-1 is once again busy scheduling tax appointments! On January 30, 2012, staff at the United Way 2-1-1 Center answered 434 of 655 calls that came in. On January 31, 2012, staff answered 335 of 402 calls. In comparison the center saw 162 calls per day on average in December. Most of the Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 calls are about scheduling tax appointments and those calls take a little longer than normal 2-1-1 calls.
