By: Rachel Lebeaux Name: Kevin Zachary Hometown: Red Bluff, Calif. Kevin is currently serving as a member of Cedar 1 with AmeriCorps NCCC at the Vinton Campus. Kevin has a variety experiences that are assisting him in his success as a Corps Member. He has volunteered and worked with the Lassen Volcanic National Park, helping with ranger led programs, field research, visitor information and fee collections. Kevin also participated in a foreign exchange program in high school. He lived with a host family in Florence, Italy for a few months and then his family hosted an exchange student after he returned. These experiences led to his desire to serve in the NCCC. Kevin graduated from Red Bluff High School in 2006 and Sonoma State University in 2010 with a degree in Communications with an Art Studio minor. After his term of service, Kevin would like to find a full time job or attend graduate school. He and his team are currently in Omaha, Neb. with Habitat for Humanity. They are assisting with two Blitz Builds and other construction projects. Before this project they were in Warsaw, Ohio working with Camp Echoing Hills.
