By: Rachel Lebeaux Name: Becky Hofkes Hometown: Chippewa Falls, Wis. Becky is serving her second year with the AmeriCorps NCCC as a Team Leader at the Vinton Campus. She came to Vinton only a week after graduating as a Class 18 Corps Member at the Pacific Region Campus in Sacramento, California. Even though her NCCC experience was extremely challenging the amount her team was able to accomplish made it all worth it. Becky’s desire to share the same feeling of accomplishment and lead a team led to her decision to serve for a second term. Becky graduated from McDonell Central Catholic High School in June 2006 and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in December 2010 with her Psychology degree. After her term of service, Becky would like to obtain her Master in Mental Health Counseling or Disaster Response and Management. Fun Facts about Becky: Q: What was your first job?
